The Lake Vermilion Resort Association
Founded as a non-profit association in 1950, the Lake Vermilion Resort Association (LVRA) has been the area leader in providing services to visitors and resort owners.
The Association changed significantly in 1997 with the cooperative effort of all the towns and townships surrounding Lake Vermilion. All properties surrounding Lake Vermilion which rent overnight accommodations of any kind for less than a 30 day period are now included as members. That added campgrounds, hotels,B&Bs, inns and cabins to the Association's membership, making it the only complete source for lodging information on the Lake.
When in the area, you can visit our information centers located at:
COOK - US Forest Service La Croix Ranger Station, Highway 53 north.
Staffed 7 days/week from May-September, 7 - 5, and Mon-Fri in October-April, 8-4:30
TOWER - Tower-Soudan Historical Society Depot Museum, Hwy 169 (next to the train)
Staffed daily, May - September, 10-4:30.
Please click on "Lodging" for more information about each of our members.
The LVRA is managed by a Board of Directors and office support staff.
