Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Vermilion, McKinley Park Campground is a welcoming destination for campers who love fishing, boating, and the outdoors. With 60 campsites set among scenic surroundings, it offers plenty of space to relax after a day on the water or exploring the Northwoods. The campground is centered around a sandy swimming beach and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including hot showers, laundry facilities, and a convenient on-site store stocked with bait, tackle, ice, and refreshments. Guests also have access to docks, a boat launch, and a fish cleaning building, making it an ideal spot for anglers.

Lake Vermilion is known as a premier walleye fishery and is also home to northern pike, small and largemouth bass, crappie, and trophy muskie. With its expansive waters, countless islands, and stunning scenery, it’s a perfect setting for both fishing and recreation. A nearby hiking and biking trail adds even more ways to enjoy the area.
